Just a week after we reported on the spurning Thursday night soiree scene, we are back in the centre of this captivating crime of a compact clubbing hotspot, as Room Service sweeps aside its compatriots to score another “Pick of The Day” selection of ours, full details on tonight’s event an image click below, while we expand on Room Service’s exploits & expeditions abroad beneath.

It hardly seems a week since we were extolling the virtues of Room Service and its responsibilities for spurning a substantial Thursday night social soiree scene from its base in Soho, Friday’s having become the poorer weekend starter of a cousin as a result, while Jodie Harsh & her tight knit team are riding a popularity wave crest that has hardly been tempered by the gathering competition such as Gigolo, revival & Owsat. Indeed, it seems that the brand identity & resounding reputation that Room Service has firmly established in its approaching three year history, has not only cemented its London events as weekly winners, but has seen an expedition expansion to New York, a season of soirees that is well into double figure forays, spreading the Room Service word stateside in superb style. Indeed, with Jodie jet setting between the two virtually each & every week, life in the Room Service fast lane hasn’t looked better, that Ibiza tour last year certainly having borne the networking fruit that has secured, not just the NYC sessions but a sequence of Pride season soiree’s that are sure to further spread the Room Service name & reputation even further afield.

And it all starts next Wednesday (5th June) in Tel Aviv, Miss Harsh & her crew joining forces with local promoter Raul Amit to present a “Pride Edition” event that curtain raises a long weekend of partying in the Israeli capital, scores of performers & D.J.’s flying in to support a significant schedule, La Demence’s cruise also landing to pump up proceedings, while Jodie & London Room Service resident D.J. Ariel fly the UK flag, supported by a Tel Aviv team that extends to no less than three other D.J.’s & four hosts, while a special photo-shoot will surely see shots splattered all across social networking sites within hours of the event opening. But the Room Service motoring machine then moves on to Amsterdam the following Friday (14th June), Jodie again holding up the London end, ably assisted by her special hostess, Amanda Lapore, while host club NYK’s resident Hartog is among four other D.J.’s on duty, spread across the venue’s two rooms.

But back to Tel Aviv and some hot off the press news, as Jodie has enlisted the hosting support of two of her terrific team, porn star Francois Sagat sure to add a squeeze or three of French sauce, while the marvellous Munroe Bergdorf will certainly raise more than a Tel Aviv eyebrow or two with her extrovert endeavours. As for London tonight (Thurs 30th May), PLAY>TIME’S own Jay Roberts joins the hosting fold, no doubt bringing a bevy of beautiful blokes with him, while the barnstorming beats will be bashed out by the brilliance of Hifi Sean & Ariel, Maibella sure to be a sizzling starter to a warm weekend of weather to come, Lucio Saints also sure to warm your cockles & other body bits with his bawdy bravado. So, all in all, the recent & coming weeks for Room Service seem to be reaching purple patch proportions, we sure that following both the Tel Aviv turn & the Amsterdam antic, that more will follow suit, securing this burgeoning brand as one of the big players on the global clubbing scene and we cannot wait to share the exciting news on further expeditions that is sure to come soon. About discomatt

The History........................................................Created in 2008 after a short period of blogging under his real name, the pseudonym, “Disco Matt”, was born on the back of a reputation for being London’s original party boy having partied and clubbed across the London gay scene since in mid 1990’s.........................................................Through his series of blogs via individual blogging pages which soon morphed into a full blown website (http://discomatt.com), Disco Matt established himself as an independent journalist come columnist who quickly gained a reputation for supporting & promoting one of the world’s most prolific clubbing scenes. He previewed, reviewed & recommended London gay clubs, as well as the diverse gay/metrosexual London club/bar culture, linking to & reviewing the scene top D.J.’s and generally covering the gay scene including international gay events....................................................Regularly reporting on the top events across the scene, Disco Matt’s reviews, over the years, developed a strong following, not just by clubbers, D.J’s, promoters, music producers & scene faces, but people far and wide that were looking for an insight to the incredible scene that was London. He also previewed upcoming events that signalled, either a major change or update of existing clubs, new ventures on the gAylist/metrosexual scene, or where he considered events that deserved more comprehensive coverage to that provided in other posts.............................................However, having pretty much reached the top of his game in his chosen specific field, due to a number of personal predicaments, challenges & changes in his life priorities, Disco Matt parked his writing and operation in February 2014. While the burning desire to continue remained, what this much needed period of inactivity did provide was the time & space to re-think & re-focus his activities on a broader spectrum of media and entertainment............................................................So, following this long two year lay-off, he built up the foundations for this diversification into the areas of film, theatre, radio & television where his reviewing, recommending & reporting was to be replicated & resurrected, also pointing his promotions through more visuals & video's linked to all these areas along with his core activities and passions ................................................................................The Present....................................After another (shorter) period of lay-off from mid 2016, a life changing event reignited his passion and early into 2017, Disco Matt has delivered on his promise for a new, more modern look to his website, shedding the old & tired skin in favour of something far more in keeping with the times and with his blogging roots. And he has waived a fond farewell to his clubbing days, this having also been ditched from his site & activity, rather now just focussing on the genres of film, theatre, radio, television, video and of course, music, in so doing, aiming to broaden his appeal to a much wider audience interested in the latest most cutting edge areas of media & entertainment.............................................................................His aim is to be highly regarded across the industry for his writing in these fields and ultimately become a full time critic in film &/or theatre.
