Hustlball - Image 2Pretty much from day one, we always seemed to strayed onto what we would call the darker side of clubbing, erotic, hardcore, sexy, take your pick of a word to describe the type of club event we had a particular penchant for, in the heady days when FIST & Substation South ruled our Saturday night world, any excuse to buckle up in our harness & squeeze into our tight leather trousers jumped at with real gusto. And, as our clubbing years advanced, while the dancefloor has very much taken over, there is still quite a thrill about pulling out those leathers & partaking in a little bit of playroom partying, although our preferred porn-tastic party Hard On is a little more vanilla for us than those full-on FIST days. However, while the capital’s clubbing circuit had a smattering of sex fuelled shenanigans, there was no doubt the London lagged behind the continent for these types of clubs, even the regular parties having some sort of playroom on offer, just look at Scream, La Demence and Red & Blue, while in The States it goes to another level So, when a brawny New York born brand broadsided the mainstream meets on capitals clubbing circuit, there were question marks whether the conservative class of London clubber would take to terrific annual turn.

Hustlaball London - VIPBut take they have, Hustlaball having turned plenty of heads since its launch here some five years ago and while it started relatively small at Hidden, successive years at Area & then The Renaissance Rooms seeing this yearly overt outing grow in both size and stature, very much catching up with its Stateside sister & its Berlin brother, Hustlaball in London very much having stepped out of the shade and into the global scene spotlight. And so building on the solid foundation it has fastidiously formed, this year’s event experience looks like being the best yet, Hustlball here in the capital going supersize in so many ways, not least that a further switch in venues makes for the best fit yet, Electric in Brixton with its theatre style setting & dimensions very much lends itself to the show-time & stage-show aspect, the team affirming the significant size up when they say “…this year’s London Hustlaball promises to be the biggest and wildest yet, featuring almost 60 international performers, taking the celebration of the global porn industry that one step further…” they adding “…enjoyment of wild scenes through porn is what the performers bring to you through their art, so we invites you to live and experience the vision of the world’s best porn directors and performers live & uncensored….”.

Hustlaball London - MainSo, with that picture painted, even if you have yet to experience a Hustlaball event, you kind of now know what you’re in for, and this “The Directors Cut” pomp & circumstance party will be a porn pumped & sexually fuelled frolic of prolific proportions and after the superb showing last year, Hustlaball is definitely on a roll, this year’s event already looking to exceed 2012’s outing in every respect. And just by glancing at the  stars of the spectacular stage shows which will include Tomy Defendi, Chris Daniels, Martin Mazza, Antonio Aguliera, Ryan Raz, Rafa Garcia, Jessy Ayres, Tyson Taylor Tomas Brand, Logan Rogue, Paddy O’Brien, Jasper Emerald, Justin King, David Circus, Jessie Jackman, Dirk Caber, Fabio Stalone, Jeff Stonger, Paul Stag & Riley Coxx, even for the relatively uninitiated to the porn scene, these are some of the biggest names in the business, while with Brit boy’s Marco Sessions & Isaac Jones masterminding the sequence of shows, all eyes will be on the main room for the majority of this meet. However, for the VIP’s there is a special space, one hosted by Sam Barclay and JP Dubois, exclusive access to the stars at your fingertips, along with all the terrific trappings that come with this special package (more details below). And with Sam, JP, Tyson Tyler, Issac Jones, Kayden Gray, Scott Hunter and David Circus throwing special shows for your eyes only, along with appearances from Manchester’s outrageous Tranarchy queens Anna Phylactic and Cheddar Gawgus, showing off their amazing creativity & keeping you amused, VIP is surely the way to go. But there is more, as horny club brand Hard On is involved again this year, Suzi Krueger employing all her experience & skills in steering a special playroom set right aside from all other proceedings, a real first for Hustlaball London and sure to be a popular pitch.

Leomeo - Podcast Cover GenericBut wait we hear you cry, what about the music?. Well while all these stage shows, porn stars & industry porn directors will want to steal most of the spotlight, we swing it onto the D.J.’s too, as this “The Directors Cut” has collected a first class set of spinners, Hustlaball New York resident Manny Ward jetting in especially for the event, he joined by London regular Tony Bruno, both sandwiching the sets score in the main room. As for the filling in this superb sandwich, well it comes in the form of two terrific talents, the first being Tony English, a D.J./producer that has not only represented Hustlaball here in London, but across in Brussels too, while with other brands under his belt including Lovechild, SuperMartXe, & Pacha, he is no stranger to these supersized & sexy shindigs, his set sure to serenade all the shows sensationally. Then we come to the other fab filling, Leomeo making a welcome return to London, having headlined the recent Brussels bash for this brilliant brand, he armed with scores of red hot singles that will definitely prove a set to savour, his tech come tribal tunes fitting the Hustlaball harder edged house style superbly. Indeed, we have been blown away by recent studio works from our Parisian pal, not least his phenomenal private edit of Will I Am’s “That Power”, this piece of circuit house heaven a sure-fire selection and a brilliant indicator of what to expect from Leomeo’s set next Saturday, a track you can grab for your collection right now by heading to https://soundcloud.com/djleomeo/that-power-leomeo-private-edit.  But the VIP sounds should be just as scintillating, as Chi Chi La-Rue & Jodie Harsh, two prestigious members of the world’s drag royalty scene will be laying down scores of hot & sexy beats, taking command of the decks with unabashed bawdry, Alessandro Londra also having his macho Italian disc spinning hand in these very important person proceedings.

About discomatt

The History........................................................Created in 2008 after a short period of blogging under his real name, the pseudonym, “Disco Matt”, was born on the back of a reputation for being London’s original party boy having partied and clubbed across the London gay scene since in mid 1990’s.........................................................Through his series of blogs via individual blogging pages which soon morphed into a full blown website (http://discomatt.com), Disco Matt established himself as an independent journalist come columnist who quickly gained a reputation for supporting & promoting one of the world’s most prolific clubbing scenes. He previewed, reviewed & recommended London gay clubs, as well as the diverse gay/metrosexual London club/bar culture, linking to & reviewing the scene top D.J.’s and generally covering the gay scene including international gay events....................................................Regularly reporting on the top events across the scene, Disco Matt’s reviews, over the years, developed a strong following, not just by clubbers, D.J’s, promoters, music producers & scene faces, but people far and wide that were looking for an insight to the incredible scene that was London. He also previewed upcoming events that signalled, either a major change or update of existing clubs, new ventures on the gAylist/metrosexual scene, or where he considered events that deserved more comprehensive coverage to that provided in other posts.............................................However, having pretty much reached the top of his game in his chosen specific field, due to a number of personal predicaments, challenges & changes in his life priorities, Disco Matt parked his writing and operation in February 2014. While the burning desire to continue remained, what this much needed period of inactivity did provide was the time & space to re-think & re-focus his activities on a broader spectrum of media and entertainment............................................................So, following this long two year lay-off, he built up the foundations for this diversification into the areas of film, theatre, radio & television where his reviewing, recommending & reporting was to be replicated & resurrected, also pointing his promotions through more visuals & video's linked to all these areas along with his core activities and passions ................................................................................The Present....................................After another (shorter) period of lay-off from mid 2016, a life changing event reignited his passion and early into 2017, Disco Matt has delivered on his promise for a new, more modern look to his website, shedding the old & tired skin in favour of something far more in keeping with the times and with his blogging roots. And he has waived a fond farewell to his clubbing days, this having also been ditched from his site & activity, rather now just focussing on the genres of film, theatre, radio, television, video and of course, music, in so doing, aiming to broaden his appeal to a much wider audience interested in the latest most cutting edge areas of media & entertainment.............................................................................His aim is to be highly regarded across the industry for his writing in these fields and ultimately become a full time critic in film &/or theatre.
