The crème de la crème of clubbing makes a resplendent return this Friday (18th March), as Gale & Gallo roll out the latest instalment of the prolific Party On the Roof heavenly atop the high street happening in the Royal Borough of Kensington, no better a bash deserved of our “Pick of The Week” choice.   

 

 

Searching out a stylish & sophisticated soiree on the capitals clubbing circuit has become a tricky task as the scene has changed irrevocably from the heady days of the nineties when clubbing meant so much more, a charming collective of socialites searching out friendships in sumptuous surroundings with the love of music the centre ground but so much more drawing them together in heavenly harmony. Yet what the noughties brought was a more down & dirty decade of dancing, where the style went out of the window, replaced by seedy under arch dens of iniquity that lowered the tone of clubbing in the capital to a low level which it has not yet managed to climb back above. However, there is one bastion brand & bash that beats off this gutter gluttony of gatherings, one that lifts us high into the sky above one of the most select of London suburbs, into surroundings that make very other offering wake in its wonderment, style and sophistication very much the name of the game, no jeans & trainers troops here, as “The Party On The Roof” is a substantial cut above the average joe of jols as we South African’s call partying, a charismatic crowd, an amazing atmosphere, a sumptuous setting and harmonious hosting making this one of the year’s most glorious gatherings not to be missed.

Yes, it’s that time of year again when Craig Gale (formerly Nightingale) rolls out the spring edition of his “Party On The Roof” spectacle at The Kensington Roof Garden’s, this year in association with & alongside Steven Gallo, promising as much, if not more of the same as the twelve soirees before, those words we use lovingly loosely, style & sophistication, the name of the game, we already hinting towards an expected dress code, while drilling down on some of the detail, the date for starts being this Friday (18th March), the place already mentioned, while music and other morsels of this meet mapped out below. With a change in the D.J. line-up along with a less expansive use of the outside garden spaces, this latest spring edition is not likely to be anywhere near as hot as the summer one, but will inevitably draw out the crème de la crème of the clubbing crop, so well worth a visit, sounds sorting’s courtesy of resident jock Mis-White who is joined by the neo legendary scene stalwart Fat Tony, the singular dancing space sure to be packed & pumping from the off at 9 pm.
