With the momentum making magnificent moves for the upcoming Summer Rites Festival In the Park, a prolific promoter now driving the party planning & organising, it seems that others now want an inclusion piece of the action, the hot off the press news that the mothership of clubbing, Trade, will be playing a prominent part on 30th June has promoted us to propel that cat out of the bag announcement in our latest nifty news nibble.

With the news that the rejuvenated Summer Rites would be marking this third year in its new incarnation with a exemplary London Gay Pride event, securing the rights as the “official” post parade party, this announcement breaking well over three months ago, we were waiting with baited breath for further positives from this fabulous festival’s organisers, a sense of As One In Te Park déjà vous creeping in as we re-emerged from our in-patient illness period to find no news in our inbox. However, while the London Pride P.R. has been pretty paltry, hardly a murmur about the parade & the now seasonal centrally situated stages & entertainment areas finding its way onto social networking sites & other outlets, the Summer Rites promotion machine is marching forward quite smartly, not least with the brilliant news that Steven Sharp has been taken on by the team and is set to stage manage much of the nitty gritty of the various dance arena’s. And, adding to that great proclamation, is the very promising developments on the ticket sales front, our insider informant very bullish about the fact that all early bird options sold out weeks ago and, on last count, the main ticket take-up was already over half way to the permitted park capacity, while with Steven clearly having rolled up his organising sleeves, the broadcast that Atomic Kitten would be headlining a main stage line-up

However, the biggest & best declaration that the mothership of clubbing is joining the Summer Rites In the Park party, has to be the best break for this fabulous festival thus far, Lawrence Malice & his beloved brand Trade having successfully steered clear of what was clearly a fantastic flop in As One In the Park, now sticking their camp neck out with considerable conviction. And there is no doubt that this near legend in our lifetime club has added plenty of clout to the appeal package of this Pride park party, confirmation that Christian Smith will be headlining a “…fierce rulin Trade D.J.’s…” line-up, adds even further weight to the world of Summer Rites, we crossing fingers that some of the current Trade deck meisters like Nick Tcherniak, Pagano & Guy Williams will be included, while it is pretty likely The Sharp Boys will treat us to s special “Lite Lounge” set. Yet while it seems that Trade will, rather than having their own tent, will form part of what has been termed “…The Main Dance Stage…”, our memory recalling that at previous Summer Rites this is the focal point of activity ad one that will see other heavyweight brands in the form of Room Service, Popcorn & Lovechild play their part, meaning that other D.J. stars will include Jodie Harsh, Kris Di Angelis, Paulo Moreno, Adam Turner & Tony English.

But, with so much more to share, our upcoming preview “Post Parade Park Partying”, it pretty much leaves us to say that, with this impressive new inclusion in the form of Trade, this is one park party you won;t want to miss, standard advance tickets on sale online by clucking on at https://facebook.com/SummerRitesEvents/app_190322544333196 or by simply heading to http://summerritesevents.com where further details on this fabulous festival will find themselves to your fingertips so sealing your attendance deal on this summer sensation.
