With all the recent controversy surrounding the fortunes of Spanish superclub brand SuperMartXe’s (SMX) fortunes here in the capital lamented in the press, we set to put aide much of the conjecture still remaining following the “2nd Anniversary” party in November, devoting a full-on preview to the latest instalment of SMX from the Logan Presents team. Indeed, with much to look forward to in the new chapter of SuperMartXe in the capital, we went into considerable detail on this up-coming “Loves London” event, not least the new venue Pulse, which will host SMX moving forward, our preview entitled “The Place Is Pulse” out at http://discomatt.com/web/2011/01/dm-previews-the-place-is-pulse-supermartxe-loves-london-saturday-19th-february/ is well worth a look.
However, amidst all the excitement of this new dawn & new beginning for SuperMartXe plus the renewed fortunes of promoter Logan Schmitz & his “Presents” team, news has just hit our desks of a date change to the originally advertised 19th February (a week on Saturday!). So, fighting back our disappointment and without wishing to create more conjecture over this news, we thought we would share the official press release with you, not least to re-assure those of you, like us, who were really looking forward to a Febraury frolic with SMX and who may have bought a ticket for this “Loves London” event at Pulse.
Press Release 09/02/2010 SuperMartXé: DATE CHANGE
As the date draws nearer, the final completion of London’s newest, super club, Pulse is underway. With every intention to give London’s clubbers the SuperMartXé party they
so deserve, we at Logan Presents have decided to push back the event to Saturday,12th of March. With news that electrical lines are being refit, we prefer to be 100%certain that we can guarantee the biggest and best party possible. This incredible newspace promises to be the next best thing, and we want everything to be absolutely perfect.
the press release also making clear of advanced ticket purchases already made
All pre-paid tickets will be redeemable on 12th of March.
So, whilst it seems that Logan and his team had negotiated an early slot at this new state of the art venue, it now transpires that the team behind Pulse will not, in fact, be ready until the originally planned opening date of 12th March, it seemingly eveident that Logan & his team have been misled by the owners of the venue. However, despite this hiccup in the plans for SuperMartXe’s “A New Dawn, A New Direction”, you can expect that the team will be pulling out all the stops to make this a party to remember for all the right reasons, further details available by going to http://loganpresents.com, while tickets (naturally with the amended date) remain on sale at http://supermartxe.clubtickets.com/gb/2011-02/19/supermartx-loves-london.
Sadly, due to this date change, we will be taking off in South Africa rather than at SuperMartXe, as our three week trip ends in Cape Town on 12th March, so we will miss out on this “Loves London” event, although that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t “Go There! Be There! (DISCO MATT)
